The Cybersecurity/Intelligence Scholars Program is an innovative program for gifted students who have a strong interest in cybersecurity and national security affairs. Students selected as scholars will be recognized as members of an elite cohort whose skills and motivation make them prime candidates for post-graduate careers and opportunities. In addition, scholars will receive special benefits to help in their educational and career development, such as special enrichment activities and training, mentorship from private or government professionals in the field, facultyguided research, study abroad activities, scholarships, and counseling/guidance to obtain internships and jobs.

Students pursuing Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Health and Exercise Science, Mathematics, Nursing, and Physics majors are eligible for the School of Science and Mathematics scholarships.

Citadel Scholars are awarded to incoming freshmen based on their admission application, scores on standardized Board test, high school GPA and class rank. The Citadel’s Scholarship Committee will select students from the admissions pool to interview and award academic scholarships in each school.

The Citadel Scholar program is designed to allow the most talented applicants access to The Citadel’s unique educational opportunities. These programs look for outstanding academic achievement in high school and leadership potential in the Corps of Cadets. All applicants to The Citadel are considered for the merit portion of these awards, which range from $2.500 to $10,000. Candidates are selected by the Academic areas and notified by invitation to interview based on their projected area of interest. Additional need-based scholarships are offered to students based on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, (FAFSA). For consideration students should apply on line at any time after October 1st of each year.

Participants must maintain a 3.0 GPA

Scholarship opportunities are funded through The Citadel Foundation.
