Credit by Examination

Students are permitted to earn credit by examination or CLEP only during their first year, including summer, at The Citadel. After the student has completed one year at The Citadel, no course credits may be earned through examination or CLEP. A student may receive credit for no more than four courses through CLEP or any other “testing out program".
