Criminal Justice Programs
With its long-standing history, reputation, and affiliation with the military, the national intelligence community (IC), and law enforcement, The Citadel is uniquely positioned to help develop leadership capabilities in all aspects of intelligence and homeland security.
The Criminal Justice undergraduate and graduate programs is designed to give students an in-depth understanding of issues and challenges facing the nation and the manner in which the IC performs its essential mission. In addition, students develop leadership and collaboration skills through group and individual intelligence analysis and problem-solving.
Courses in these programs provide a common framework that can be used as part of strategic decision-making processes within agencies. In addition, students develop enhanced critical thinking, writing, and briefing skills that are crucial in today’s world. The program is also designed to enhance leadership skills for those individuals currently employed in the IC and to others who are interested in gaining greater knowledge about the fields of intelligence and security.
